I like that the flavours aren’t too sweet, although personally in a mix I wouldn’t mind one slightly sweeter. Maybe slightly punchier too. I enjoyed the drinks a lot, just figuring out how I feel about value for money. I would happily be served one, still weighing up whether I would order again.

The Good Stuff
Originally from China but now grown in Japan, Yuzu is a wobbly looking citrus fruit with a sweet, sharp flavour that’s entirely unique. They are sought out for their heady, floral aroma that is slightly difficult to place.
On the winter solstice in Japan, it is customary to bathe in hot springs with the floating rinds of Yuzu. It is said the aromas relax the body, mind and spirit.
The refreshing fragrance of elderflower blossoms pair perfectly with Yuzu in this balanced cocktail. Elderflower is a symbol of the English summer - each bud should be picked from hedgerows just as they open on warm, sunny days.
In ancient folklore on the British Isles, Elder branches are hung above doorways to ward off evil spirits.
The Japanese plum is a naturally sweet fruit, with a flavour likened to a combination of peach and apricot. Many people choose to eat it ‘as is’, sometimes right from the tree when ripe.
Hibiscus is rich in powerful antioxidants and may help prevent damage caused by the buildup of free radicals. It’s delicious tart flavour is reminiscent of cranberry.
Recognisable by their thick, bright green skin, Persian Limes tend to be less acidic and bitter than other varieties of Lime. They add the perfect freshness to both Yuzu & Elderflower, and Plum & Hibiscus.
In Sri Lankan folklore, limes originated during a fight between two cobra gods, when their fangs turned to seeds and the poison became lime juice.
The lychee (Litchi chinensis) — also known as litchi or lichee — is a small tropical fruit grown in subtropical regions throughout the world and can survive for up to 1,000 years in the wild.
Known for their sweet and flowery flavour, they’re typically eaten fresh. In ancient Chinese history it is considered a symbol of love and romance.
Green tea originated in China, tracing back to 2737 B.C. by accident when the Chinese Emperor Shennong mistakenly drank water with a dead tea leaf boiled inside.
In addition to its versatile flavours, green tea contains many health benefits due to its high number of antioxidants.
